Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a relaxing, non-invasive procedure that works on all skin types. The process uses fine crystals applied with a vacuum suction to the skin. This relatively new procedure gently removes only the very top layers of damaged skin by "sand blasting" them with these tiny crystals. It is usually performed on the face and neck, but can be performed on any part of the body (such as the backs of the hands). This clears pores by removing dead surface cells thus buffing and polishing the skin. It stimulates production of new skin cells. It helps with the treatment of skin that has blackheads or whiteheads, is acne prone, is rough, or sun damaged. It is sometimes called a "lunchtime peel", because of its convenient, luxurious and effective results.
